This anthology of his beliefs on leadership will serve as sound advice for anyone in that role. Topics covered include communication, effectiveness, and listening to followers. Replete throughout are examples of present-day leaders exemplifying these principles, including Peter Thigpen (Levi Strauss), Sam Walton (Wal Mart), Roger Enrico (PepsiCo), and Michael Eisner (Disney). Although the selections are, of course, arbitrary, this sagacious advice is crisply organized, solidly narrated by George Guidall, and will well serve listeners looking for a terse summary of leadership.
